Carine graduated from Virginia-Maryland School of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2000. She has been practicing since then at several full service small animal veterinary clinics in Maryland. Carine's favorite part of practice is developing personal relationships with clients and their beloved pets. This led her to open Chesapeake Veterinary Housecalls. She believes in listening, educating, and explaining all aspects of pet care to her clients. Visiting pets in their own home allows Carine to offer uninterrupted, personal attention to each and every case. Carine has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 fish. She lives in Easton with her husband and their sons.
Carine offers integrated veterinary medicine, mixing the best of both the Western medicine she learned at Virginia Tech and through years of clinical practice, and Chinese medicine and acupuncture that she learned at the Chi Institute. She became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in Reddick, Florida. She still offers veterinary relief services to several local clinics, and does surgery at Spay/Neuter clinics for Caroline County Humane Society. In her spare time she enjoys running, cycling, movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.
